I know this would leave a few bits behind, but I didnt want to give myself a headache. I tried uninstalling and then deleting all files from my computer, but not through the registry. Hey man! thanks for taking the time to write up how you got it to work! Thanks for everyone's replies, they helped to stiffen out the problem. To be honest this may have been the route of the issue the entire time and I was just being an idiot and overcomplicating things. The best way I found to make it work was to put it into windowed.

My fix was actually incredibly simple.Īll I had to do was uninstall, delete all the remaining entries from the registry which were associated with Warband (I recommended getting help from a professional or someone who has any idea what they're doing to do this) and then do some work within the newly installed configuration. GeorgeDKnight původně napsal:Alright, just an update. The best I can guess is that it's an issue with the path that the game is using to launch, but how I would go about fixing it is beyond me.Īnyway if you can help in any way it would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, I'm really not a master with anything too technical so this is really baffling to me.

I went into the event viewer with Windows and found this long error messages:įaulting application name: mb_warband.exe, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x55e9a89aįaulting module name: mb_warband.exe, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x55e9a89aįaulting application start time: 0x01d24d6955a64ff2įaulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MountBlade Warband\mb_warband.exeįaulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MountBlade Warband\mb_warband.exe I've checked literally every forum so far, I done what they've said from deleting 'rgl_config.txt' to updating and checking my Directx but nothing works. The issue I'm having now is that whenever I try and launch it brings up the launcher, I select play and it loads up the 'Taleworlds Entertainment' intro, without any sound, and then once that has finished it just crashes and the game does not launch. There were some initial graphical issues due to my newly installed GTX 970 Graphics Card, but I was able to solve pretty easily. I just bought it off steam and it worked fine. I've been having an issue with my new copy of Mount and Blade Warband.
